From November 13th to December 18th we will be holding Project Pink at Buster Rhino's in conjunction with several other business's and people in Ontario.

Project Pink came about from a statement I made on Twitter late one night. A couple of people I have regular conversations with ( @nummiesbras, @cakeordeathca & @karmacakedotca) were discussing how every woman should have a dash of pink in their hair at some time in their life. Me being somewhat sarcastic told them I would dye my hair pink. Well I didn't expect @nummiesbras to call me on it. I told her I would happily do the deed and go completely Pink but it had to be for a good cause. We decided Breast Cancer was a great cause, everyone knows someone who has, or will have this dreaded disease at some point. Then we just had to come up with the conditions that we would need in order for me to go Pink.

The first condition is as follows, we must sell 1500 sandwiches at Buster Rhino's during this time. If we do not meet this goal of 1500 sandwiches I will not dye my hair pink. Since this was and is the ultimate goal I have no worries that with the help of our collective social circles we can make this happen.

The second condition was that for every sandwich sold at Buster Rhino's during this time period we would happily donate .50 from each one to the Breast Cancer Society. This has no minimum or maximum, if we do not reach our goal of 1500 sandwiches we will still donate that money to the charity. Of course the more sandwiches we sell the greater the donation. We will also post a donation box within Buster Rhino's for anyone who would like to donate their change to the cause as well.

Here is a new condition from the Corporate Chef at Buster Rhino's as well. If we sell 2500 sandwiches he will also dye his hair pink. He also suggested that if we can reach the goal of 2500 sandwiches we would make the donation from .50 per sandwich to .50 for every meal we sell (this would include ribs and retail meats). Which would mean a considerable amount more for the Breast Cancer Society. The best part about this condition, the Chef is an Angry Chef (Scottsman) who would be running around giving orders to people and he would have pink hair, how could anyone take him seriously!

1) Send this link to as many people as possible in your social circle from Twitter, Facebook, myspace etc. Word of mouth from friends is the best form of marketing there is.

2) If you know of someone within the media that can help us get the word out about Project Pink it would be a big plus. I really want to see the Chef running around in here with Pink Hair.

3) Visit Buster Rhino's and grab a sandwich for the cause.

4) If you own a business that could help in any form we would be happy to hear from you. We will post a link to your website. We would need a product or service that we can use to help promote the event, or that we can use for a giveaway or auction. The more money we can raise the better it will be for all of us.
